Restoration works of the facade of the old tenement building at 15 Słowacki Street in Cracow are coming to an end. Conservators from the Kontrapunkt V-Project Investment Team have contrasted cream architectural wall coating with the base course made of black ceramics and ceramic decoration that engage windows into vertical belts, referring to the previous image of the building. It was erected in 1929 according to Ludwik Wojtyczka design and constitutes a perfect example of the Polish architecture of modernism era. It is one of the most interesting examples of the Cracow tenement building architecture of the 20's and 30's of the 20th century, in terms of the form of the body pf the building, as well as the facade composition.
Tiles used in the design were custom made and hand glazed in the Pilzys-Wojciechowski Ceramic Studio.
