In the Infant Jesus
Clinical Hospital - Trauma Treatment Center in Warsaw, a Center for Diagnosis
and Treatment of Venous Thromboembolism has been established. The project was conducted in the framework of the modernization of the Department of
Internal Medicine and Cardiology at 4, Lindley Street.
Designers from KVP Medic under the management of Ms. Ewa Dobrucka have elaborated a formal and utility concept as well as civil engineering design of the new centre. The extension of the existing building maintains its clinic functions (diagnosis and non-invasive treatment of cardiovascular diseases), didactic functions (education of the students of Warsaw Medical University) and research functions (development of modern clinical proceedings). The building has the capacity of 32 beds for patients, cardiac intensive care unit, research units, and a conference room.
