Description
The concept of a new media building for the TVN television by Kontrapunkt Team is a simple cuboid solid with an undercut, descendant below a ground level front wall. It was discovered by a method of formatting a three-dimensional artistic model. Author’s assumption was that the solid of the building would be looking completely differently at night than during a day. Application of a copper elevation nets covering the glass walls will bring about an invisible during day, cubistic interior of the building which becomes at night three-dimensional, colourful sculpture which determines the composition of the surrounding landscape and this district of Warsaw. The Elevation covered with the copper net without any detail, symbol nor sign helpful to identify building or its owner is aimed to get the interest of the trespassers . Over the roof was stretched a white screen made of EFTE elevation foil its function is more than only aesthetic, the foil covers and protects entire technical equipment of the building.
