Description
Under the management of Arch. Lucyna Serafin-Farah, Kontrapunkt
Medic Team has completed the design of the modernization of four buildings of
the Medical University of Gdansk, which included the conceptual design, medical
engineering design, building permit design and a detailed design. Buildings no.
1, 2, 3 and 4 located in a picturesque park at 7 Dębinka Street have been
adapted to the new functions, among others to overtake the clinics of the
University Clinic Centre situated outside of the Medical University of Gdansk
and for administrative purposes. All buildings pertaining to the investment
project were erected in the first half of XX century, and building no. 1 is
under under building preservation maintenance.
Within the framework of the reconstruction of building no. 1,
the Team planned the location of the Physiotherapy Unit, didactical rooms of
the Simulated Patient Unit, seminary and didactical rooms of the Department of
the Research on Health of the General Dietetics Unit and Rescue Services, Family
Clinic, including Occupational Health Clinic and administrative premises of the
Medical University of Gdansk.
Building no. 2 will hold external paediatric wards: Intensive Care Unit for children and adults, the Department of
Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Division of Paediatric Endocrinology, Department
of Paediatrics, Division of Oncology and Haematology, Division of Paediatric
Diabetology, Department of Pathology of infancy and Homoeostasis Disorders, Department
of Paediatrics, Department of Paediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart
Diseases, Department of Developmental Neurology of the Adult Neurology Unit.
Building no. 3 functionally and technologically is connected
to building no. 2 and will hold the Outpatient Clinics and Day Units of the
Paediatrics, Haematology and Oncology Clinic, Day Unit and Outpatient Clinics of the Day Endocrinology Unit, Day
Unit and Diabetology Outpatient Clinics, Day Unit of the Department of
Nephrology and Hypertension, Diagnostic Centres and Cardiac Clinic for Children
and Adults with Congenital Heart Defects, Department of Developmental Neurology
and Departments of Peritoneal Dialysis and Hemodialysis.
Building no. 4 holds surgery clinics: Oncology and
Radiotherapy Clinic, Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Surgery Clinic, Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic and Cardiac Surgery
Clinic.
