The Kontrapunkt Team has taken part in the contest for a new building for The Great Egyptian Museum. Elaborated conception was an answer for a challenge of creating in the neighborhood of the most renowned monuments in the history of mankind. Spatial arrangement of the whole assumption named “ Flourishing Green Garden “ refers to the geographical and urbanistic configuration of the ancient Egypt in particularly favoring the ancient towns and of course the life-giving river Nil. Museum was a group of exhibit pavilion , each pavilion corresponded with a different old Egyptian town. Between pavilions and surrounding area runs Main Waterway imitating Nil, which is also the reference point. Designers named pavilions Exhibition Stones, its size depends from an importance of each city in the history of the world. Elevation was thought as a granite sculptured walls.
