In September, the construction works of Sports and Rehabilitation Center
of the Medical University of Warsaw commenced. It will be erected along Ks. Trojden Street in Warsaw, on the Banach
Campus in Ochota District. The Centre will perform both sport and didactical
functions. SRC MUW will accommodate, among others, two swimming pools (one
Olympic size with folding grandstand), sports halls and gyms, rehabilitation
center, classrooms, a cafeteria and a bowling alley. The complex will create an
irregular frontage, reminiscent of the Fibonacci sequence and the opening to
the espalier of ash trees will be possible thanks to a glazed south façade of
the buildings.
