Building works on a seat of The Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw at Pawińskiego Street are in progress.
The building – The Birch Grove- is a longitudinal solid cut in 1/3 of it’s length by a glass hall 25m high. The building is a compositional frame for a birch grove situated inside of it. To intensify an artistic effect the whole hall’s construction ( including frontage pillars) is made of a diaphanous glass. Inside it at a height of 7m from the flooring will be singed “Bagatella” (in Italian it means a bead) – a complex of three conference rooms stringed on three glassy communicational bridges . Composition of a stained glass window in a front hall complements a view of a birch grove.
