Following the order of “EIT +” Wrocław Research Center, the Kontrapunkt V-Project Investment Team in cooperation with TW Engineers Sp. z o.o. will elaborate construction and detailed design of a modern research and innovation unit of the Lower Silesian Center for Materials and Biomaterials.
In the framework of the project in Pracze research complex at 147-149 Stabłowska Street in Wrocław, a network of three specialized high-tech research laboratories will be created.
The complex in Pracze dates back to the years 1900- 1930 and along with a spacious park, covers the area of 25 hectares and is characterized by a historical urban layout registered in the Register of Historic Monuments.
Two of the existing structures are going to be rebuilt. The building no. 7 will host Specialist Nanotechnology Laboratories (incl. among others, Materials Laser Ablation Laboratory and Nanostructures Laboratory for Solar Energy Conversion), and the building no. 9, Specialist Biotechnology Laboratories as well as the Central Laboratory.
The newly designed structure no. 9a will constitute a seat of the Nanotechnology Laboratory and the Specialist Biotechnology Laboratory (incl. among others Laboratory of Advanced Laser Technologies applied in Technology and Medicine, or Energy Laboratory) and the Central Nanotechnology Laboratory.
All laboratories will be adapted for the implementation of Good Laboratory Practice System.
Estimated usable area for the building no. 7 is 2,185m2, for the building no. 9 – 3, 431m2, and for the newly designed building no. 9a – 8,100m2.
