The Kontrapunkt V-Project Investment Team has finished detailed design of the Archive of the Town Hall of the City of Cracow located at 3, Na Załęczu Street. The construction works of the building will commence in two months’ time.
Architects working under the supervision of Mr. Piotr Salwa, managed to find dialogue between the existing, and the newly designed building. Two contrasting blocks are joined by one idea of data that the building store. The arrangement of the elevations of the naves resembles a traditional bookcase; simple shape of the former school refers to the storage of digital data. It is worth to pay attention to the night view of the structure, which was achieved by using modern facade lighting.
